This is my Chilli Crab fix. It’s great because you don’t need to get your fingers all crabby. It works nicely as a dip as well. I served it at dinner with a No-knead krusty bread.
No-Fuss Chilli Crab
Ingredients
2 tbsp chopped garlic
2 tbsp black pepper sauce
1/4 cup garlic chilli sauce
1 cup tomato ketchup
4 tbsp sugar
4 tbsp fish sauce
14oz cooked crab meat
2 beaten eggs
2 tbsp tapioca flour dissolved in 1/2 cup water
To Do:
1. Fry garlic and pepper sauce until fragrant.
2. Add chilli sauce, ketchup, sugar and fish sauce.
3. Bring to boil.
4. Add crab meat, combine completely.
5. Add tapioca flour mixture, stir till mixture thickens.
6. Add in eggs, stirring gently.
7. Garnish with cilantro. Serve hot.
No-Knead Krusty Bread
It’s super easy and made completely from scratch. It was uber satisfying when I took it out of the oven, sat it on the window ledge and listened to it crackle. Nice!
